Our Story
Solid Rock Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd is an independent professional services firm delivering integrated Finance, Compensation and Benefits solutions to businesses, development programmes, funds, and employer groups.
Founded in 2017, Solid Rock was established to deliver practical, specialised, and people-centred solutions in finance, compensation and benefits. We operate through two focused divisions: Finance Solutions and Compensation and Benefits Solutions.

Co-Founder & Director: Compensation and Benefits
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Human Resources Management from Stellenbosch University, Management Development Programme from GIBS, and Advanced HR Management certification from Wits University. Holds Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) accreditation through the South African Reward Association. Currently completing MPhil in Strategic Management at the University of Pretoria.
Brings extensive expertise in Total Rewards, executive remuneration, remuneration governance, performance management, job evaluation, salary architecture, and benefits design. A Retirement Funds specialist with Board of Trustees experience spanning over two decades across multiple industries in South Africa and the broader African continent.
Thabisile Macoba
CA(SA)
Co-Founder & Director: Finance
Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a Post Graduate Diploma, Financial Accounting and BCom Honors (Accounting) from the University of KwaZulu Natal. Over 15 years of senior finance leadership experience, including more than a decade in Chief Financial Officer roles within listed and private organisations.
Specializes in building strong finance functions, improving governance, managing risk, and using financial insight to support business strategy and sustainable growth. Experienced in leading finance teams, working with boards and executive committees, and partnering with business leaders to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency. Passionate about enabling business owners to understand their numbers, make informed decisions, and build resilient, sustainable enterprises.
